GUISELEY 1st Team VERSUS
Collingham (Home) - League
30th August 2003 |
Guiseley were put into bat by already
relegated Collingham and made a sound start by clocking up 124
before the the loss of skipper Ross for 72.
Runs were a plenty as half centuries from Wolfie ( 66 ) and Ian
Chaplin ( 50 no ) saw Guiseley set a steep target of 245 for the
visitors to chase.
| Once again S.Booth bowled the majority of the
overs claiming 4 for 87. ( That guy would bowl at both ends if
allowed ). |
| In reply the visitors moved steadily along to
53 for 2 before young ChrisWain ripped the heart out of their
middle order claiming seasons best figures of 5 for 35. |
| |
| Collingham never recovered after that and were
finally rolled over for 145 with Andrew Paley contributing
with a return of 3 for 27. |
| |
| Very near the end of the match apparently a MOONY was
pulled at slip for the duration of an over, obviously very
bored with the proceedings. !! |
