Winning the toss skipper Ross put the visitors into bat and an
early breakthrough came as Pales removed Big Bad Bazza for 1.

| It was a long time before the next wicket, 148
runs to be precise as the North Leeds batsmen took advantage
of some very friendly bowling. |

| The ball was despatched to all parts and a final
total of 259 for 5 was amassed . Pales
took 3 for 62 off 10 overs and Browny economical as
ever bowled 13 overs for 30 without success. |

| PC was once again busy on Monday morning as a
replenishment of balls was required. |

| In reply Guiseley
lost Wolfie ( 17 ) early on however a partnership of 80
between the Ross brothers took the score to 113 before Simon
fell for 39. |

| Contributions from M.Best ( 21 ) and I.Chaplin
( 20 ) supported skipper Mark ( 89 no ) as Guiseley finished
on 202 for 6 at close. |
