| Beckwithshaw suffered from several late backwords and were only able to field 10 men and a very young side at that. |

| Beckwithshaw were invited to bat first and the game started in incredible fashion with the normally consistent Adrian Threapleton conceding 6
wides, 5 no-balls, a 4 off the bat and a single before clean bowling the No2 with middle stump cartwheeling out of the ground - all in his first over !! |

| Beckwithshaw scored at a creditable 4 an over throughout their innings but lost wickets at the same rate and had no answer to Marcus Brown who had career-best figures of 7 for 34 in 10.3
overs. |

| Tea was not ready on completion of the innings and the Guiseley openers, Richard Whitaker and Graeme
Wolfenden, went straight to the crease to knock off the runs in 10.5 overs without loss scoring 35 and 34 not out respectively. Proceedings finsished at 3:15pm and, after a late tea, everyone went to Beckwithshaw to see the 1st XI win a vital relegation battle. A good day was had by one and all. |
