The 2nd XI had their first draw of the season claiming 5 points at Ilkley. Again making first use of the pitch the Guiseley batsmen found the going relatively easy against an
Ilkley attack weakened by the absence of 11 players throughout the club and scored a comfortable 192 for 2.

| Graeme Wolfenden returned from injury to score his 21st senior century with 100 not out, including 11 fours, adding an unbroken 109 for the 3rd wicket with Chris Cooper who ended on 36 not out. The skipper Nick Fraser declared with 4 overs remaining to give some leeway in the event of rain which proved essential as 3 overs were lost during Ikley's innings. |

| The Ilkley openers batted steadily in reply adding 26 for the first wicket and a 3rd wicket partnership of 54 between Joe Varley and Duncan Sayers gave hope of better things but the run out of Sayers with a direct hit from Fraser for 17 with the score on 100 changed the course of the game. |

| Quick wickets followed and the Ilkley reply petered out to finish at 132 for 7, 12 runs short of the 2 point target. An excellent all-round performance has maintained the team's position in the top 3 and this level of commitment will be required to enable a serious title challenge. |
