| Guiseley restricted North Leeds to 117 for 9
wickets with only J Roberts 37 not out making a significant
score. Joe Davies was the pick of Guiseley's bowlers finishing
with 2-21 while Ricky Harrison again impressed taking 3-31 and
out stager andy Swallow taking 1-27 off ten. |

| In reply Guiseley got off to a good start with
the openers Stuart Goodbold and Duncan Archibald puting on 27
for the first wicket but some tidy bowling from S White
(10-20-2) and G Hales and some excellent catching saw Guiseley
reduced to 41 for 6 and staring at defeat. |

| Captain Phil Thomas was joined at the Wicket by
Mark Adams to produce a stunning assault on the North Leeds
bowling. Thomas and Adams put on 89 runs in 8 overs as the
boundaries and sixes flowed making a mockery of the situation
they were in at the time. Phil Thomas finished with 50 not out
while Mark Adams finished on a superb 23 not out finishing the
match with a huge six down the ground. |
